Did you know that heartworms are carried by mosquitos? That's right, those pesky mosquitos carry this terrible disease to our pets. They can be infected with just one bite that you may have never known about! Even pets that are primarily indoors can become infected with the disease. We recommend testing yearly and giving heartworm prevention year-round to prevent an infection in the heart of your furry friend.
